As someone who calls herself Smashimi and dresses up in roller skates, striped socks, a little blue skirt and a red shirt with a big "Z" on it twice a week for the Memphis Roller Derby, I try to be sympathetic.
But it's early March when my 5-year-old poses this question to his 3-year-old brother.
"Jiro, who are you going to be for Christmas?" Satchel asks.
"I'm going to be Obi-Wan Kenobi," Jiro answers proudly.
"I'm going to be Anakin Skywalker ... when he's a teenager," Satchel says, as if they haven't had this conversation a thousand times...(Read more)
