Over the weekend, I found myself in a bit of a pickle. I wanted to teach my kids -- Satchel, 6, and Jiro, 4 -- about giving rather than receiving, but I needed to do it in a way that didn't dispel their belief in Santa Claus.
My co-workers and I adopted an angel from the Salvation Army's Angel Tree. His name is Myron and he's 10 years old. He requested an 18-inch bike, a set of sheets for his bunk bed and toys.
