When I pick up Satchel, 7, and Jiro, 5, from school, Satchel runs over, yells, "I'm going to jump on you," and then jumps on me. (I've asked him to warn me so I can brace myself.) He wraps his legs around my waist, his arms around my neck, and lays his head on my shoulder. I return the hug and try to soak up every second of the affection being showered upon me.
