On Friday nights we have a "cocktail hour" with a steady group of friends. It's a chance for the adults to have a drink and chit-chat while the kids run around and play. It's usually a potluck and lasts about two to three hours.
Last week we got into an etiquette discussion involving portable gaming devices (a.k.a. the Nintendo DS and DSi). "I thought we didn't bring the DSes to cocktail hour," Stephanie said to me.
