I affectionately refer to the "Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Shrimp" at Cafe Ole as the "double-flesh combo." It's pretty much the most un-kosher thing a nice Jewish girl could eat, but that hasn't stopped me yet.
The five jumbo shrimp, stuffed generously with cheese and jalapenos, are wrapped in bacon, deep-fried, and served with a spicy chipotle barbecue sauce. I try not to think about the ingredients as the crispy bacon crumbles between my teeth and the spicy cheese oozes down my throat. Instead, I focus on the sinful delight going on in my mouth. The BWSS is listed as an appetizer, and it's a tasty way to start off a meal with friends or top off a margarita marathon...(See photo here.)
