Over the weekend, my family went to a wedding in New Orleans. There were lots of kids there, and my two sons made some fast friends. At the end of the evening, my older son came over to me looking a little sad. He motioned toward a red-haired boy he'd been hanging around with most of the night and sullenly said, "I'm never going to see him again!"
